Take Your Child to the Library Day!

Mark your calendars! Saturday, February1st is the 3rd annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! Over 400 libraries in 40 states are participating this year, and HCH is no exception. In honor of this wonderful celebration, we will have all of our pop-up books on display all day. Feel free to drop by and do some reading. We'll also have a pop-up themed craft to do at our craft table.
Last, and certainly not least, we will have Curious Creatures visiting us! At 3pm, Curious Creatures will be performing an educational, live animal show. They'll bring a variety of mammals, reptiles, and even a few insects. We'll learn about those animals and will even be able to touch them. This show is recommended for children in grades K-6. There is limited space for this show, so please register at or give us a call at 860-669-2342.
