Upcoming Programs

We have so many programs coming up in the next few weeks! This Saturday, Feb. 8th at 1pm local author, Dorothy Ricci, will be here to talk about her new book. Dorothy spends her summers here in Clinton, and newest book, The Secret of the Silent Sea Gull, is set in our very own town! Stop by to meet her and hear her talk about her book and writing process.

We have rescheduled our snowed out Korean New Year to Wednesday the 12th at 4pm. The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will be coming back to the library to tell us some Korean folk tales, teach us a traditional New Year's greeting, and let us try on some traditional Korean clothing.

Then during February school break, we are offering two programs. On Wednesday the 19th, we'll be having a Superhero Training. Starting at 3pm and going until 5pm, kids will create their own superhero costumes, learn how to leap over tall buildings and perfect their throwing aim. This program is recommended for children ages 4 years & older. Please register for this event at http://www.hchlibrary.org/kids/register_kids.php

On Friday the 21st from 1-3pm, we're having a Diary of a Wimpy Kid party. There will be trivia, games, activities, and crafts all related to the series. This program is recommended for children in grades 2-5. Please register for this event at http://www.hchlibrary.org/kids/register_kids.php.
