Summer Reading is Here!

Summer Reading is officially underway for children and teens of all ages!

There are many exciting things going on this summer including: Lego Mondays in July, a visit from the folks of the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, Bookworm Bop with Mary Jo Maichack, Fossil Fun and Dinosaur Bones, Storytimes, and much more. Check out and register for all of our programs and events on the Kids' page of our website at http://www.hchlibrary.org/kids/kids.php

You can sign up for Summer Reading by stopping by in person, giving us a call at 860-669-2342, or clicking here: http://ct.evanced.info/hchlibrary/sr/homepage.asp?ProgramID=6. Check the tab at the top of the page, and make sure it is set to "Dig into Reading" for elementary aged kids or "Dig into Reading for Little Ones" for preschool, pre-k, and kindergartners. Just click on "Sign Me Up" and fill out the form. You can log all of the books you read throughout the summer, see what other kids are reading, and rate and review books. Prizes can be earned all summer long!

Come on by to say "hi," cool off, and have some fun! And don't forget to check out what's growing in our garden!
