Celebrating Adoptive Families

In honor of Adoption Awareness Month, the library will hold an all-day information session and celebration of adoptive families in the Community Room. Representatives from the state Foster Care and Adoptive Services Department will be on hand to answer any questions from prospective families. Displays will showcase free library resources. Two story hours with crafts will welcome all families, but a special invitation goes out to families made through adoption or fostering. The November 12, 2010 morning storytime will begin at 10:30 and the afternoon session will begin at 3:30.No registration is necessary for these events.

C'est La Vie!

There are a few spaces left in C'est La Vie, an introduction to French language and culture by members of the Morgan School's French Honor Society. Once a week for 3 weeks, 1st through 5th graders will explore all good things francaise.

Preschoolers' Halloween Party

Please join us for a Halloween Costume Parade and storytime on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 10:00. All Princesses, Spidermen, Ladybugs, Fairies and Thomas The Tank Engines are welcome. Please leave any masks at home, as sometimes they upset young children. No registration is necessary.
